Jeez Louise these kitchens!!! GWOW!

You all must think I am terrible at keeping promises...I am sorry!  I moved across the country to the 305...Miami aka "home" and have been transitioning.

Well, nothing like a little kitchen porn to bring me back to blogland.  Ay Dios mio!

Be still my heart...carrara marble counters (or is it quartz? they finally made a GOOD carrara imitation), the hardware, the floors....and don't get me started on the lighting.   Add to all that awesomeness some Bells of Ireland, and I am sold....

Don't mind me...I am picking my jaw up off the floor.  Below we have the what I think is a pretty darn good recipe for a kitchen/breakfast nook.

Black casement windows, Circa Lighting Hicks pendant, Moroccan tile, French bistro chairs, and a pop of pink.

And this amazing kitchen with the charcoal grouted subway tiles and brass fittings...Love the farmhouse sink coupled with the industrial faucet.  Wonder if that sink is the DOMSJO?

The Spanish modern vibe of this one is soo cool.  Love the traditional terracotta floors, bistro chairs and trestle table coupled with more modern globe light fixtures, black casement windows, and industrial range.

Y esta?  This one is one of my all time favorite kitchens evah!  Tommy Smythe, Sarah Richardson's design sidekick is a genius!!  This kitchen is delectable.  The perfect balance of old and new.  Those classic herringbone patterned floors are gorgeous.  The antique looking verdi gris lantern, the sleek, modern stainless steel countertop, the classic shaker style cabinetry updated to include very of the moment black lowers and white uppers, classic carrara marble, industrial range and hood, vintage farm table and bentwood chairs.  This kitchen is smashing!!!

And these are the first wood grain cabinets that I like in quite a while.  I am partial to painted cabinets in case you hadn't noticed, but the stain on these wood babies is beautiful.  And the brass hardware is perfect.  Love the rustic vibe of this one.

Gosh I can't wait till we find a house here in Miami with a kitchen to gut!  Stay tuned!

  1. Wow! This is my kind of kitchen! Every homemaker would love to spend time in this fabulous space. Everything about this kitchen speaks of modernity and style. Even the simple casement windows radiate that classy but simple vibe. The space looks crisp and restrained but very elegant.
